Workshops for Teachers
CC textbooks
CPM materials require significant change in instructional practices from the traditional classroom. Because of this, CPM expects that teachers using the materials for the first time will attend three to four days of introductory workshops during the summer and three to five all-day meetings during the school year. CPM underwrites the cost of providing this instruction in the use of CPM materials Meetings are held in more than 20 different states throughout the U.S. and abroad.

Workshops are scheduled at times and locations where CPM expects sufficient enrollment to conduct them. You must register TWO WEEKS before the first scheduled day of a workshop. Late registrations will be accepted on a space available basis. Workshops may be canceled, condensed, or rescheduled based on enrollment. Register early! Some travel may be involved to attend a CPM workshop. If you will be traveling to attend a summer workshop, you should contact the local Regional Coordinator for your workshop site to confirm that the workshop will be held before purchasing airfare or non-refundable lodging.

PARTICIPANTS MUST BRING A TEACHER EDITION TO THE FIRST WORKSHOP MEETING.
This may be a printed TE or an electronic device (tablet or computer) and access their TE eBook. Teachers and districts are responsible to purchase a teacher edition and for any transportation, teacher stipends, and/or substitute costs. The curriculum for the workshops is based on the teacher edition(s) of the course(s) you are taking. YOU MUST HAVE A CURRENT VERSION OF THE COURSE TEACHER EDITION(S) PRIOR TO THE FIRST WORKSHOP SESSION. Orders must be received two weeks before the first session to assure timely delivery.

Go to the "Ordering CPM Materials" link in the left margin to find the order forms for all Teacher Editions and courses.

There are several options available to choose from when receiving comprehensive support services from CPM. CPM mentors can work with individual teachers, entire math teams, or a combination of both. Coaching individual teachers can have a different focus each visit to be determined by the teacher and their coach.
