CPM Classroom in Action

eBooks in Core Connections

CPM’s student-centered, problem-based curriculum can be delivered via an eBook, a living textbook. The eBook is not a static PDF; it has built-in interactive eTools and Desmos calculators at the students’ fingertips. With eWorkspace, students can enter their responses by typing or uploading an image to share their work with their teacher.

The Digital Platform in Inspiring Connections

In this multimodal series, digital and print materials work in tandem to maximize student engagement. The choice of medium for each aspect of a lesson is based on how and where students learn best. Employing digital components, such as pacing, eTools, and eWorkspace, along with print components like the Mathematician’s Notebook, strategically foster student engagement in their mathematical thinking. Both media play a vital role in this process.
